Georgia Bulldogs Uga X Bobblehead Celebrating Que’s Life Unveiled; On sale now

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled an officially licensed, limited edition bobblehead of the University of Georgia's most celebrated and successful mascot, Uga X, to honor the DGD who passed away peacefully at his home in Savannah on January 23rd of this year.

Also known as Que, Uga X, who debuted in 2015, retired at the end of the 2022 season as the winningest mascot in Georgia history. The Bulldogs’ good luck charm, Uga X had a 91-18 record during his tenure, including back-to-back College Football Playoff National Championships, two SEC titles and victories in the Rose, Sugar, Orange, and Peach Bowls. Que passed Uga VI, who reigned from 1999 to 2008, as the university’s winningest bulldog.

The bobbleheads, which are a great way to honor and celebrate Uga X’s incredible life, were produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the University of Georgia.

The first batch of the Uga X Bobbleheads recently arrived, and are available for sale in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum's Online Store HERE, as well as at The Red Zone and The Clubhouse in Athens.

The first batch is expected to sell out early Friday morning based on a presale opportunity for previous customers and the second batch is scheduled to arrive in May.

According to the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, each bobblehead is individually numbered to only 2,023 to commemorate the year when Uga XI took over the mascot duties from Uga X at the Collaring Ceremony at the G-Day Game in April 2023.

The bobbleheads are $30 each, plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order.

Standing on a University of Georgia logo base bearing the name Uga X on the front and Que on the back, the Uga X bobblehead has its tongue out in playful fashion while wearing his custom-made jersey.

After a three-month audition, Uga X was formally crowned as the successor for his grandfather, Uga IX, who was also known as Russ, in a changing of the collar ceremony prior to the Georgia-Georgia Southern game on November 21st, 2015.

All 11 official bulldogs who have served as Uga have been part of a line of pure white English bulldogs owned by the Frank W. “Sonny” Seiler family in Savannah, Georgia. The tradition began with Uga I (aka Hood’s Ole Dan), who was born on December 2nd, 1955, in Columbus, Georgia.

"Bobbleheads are the ultimate way to honor and celebrate a person or mascot, and we think this bobblehead of Uga X is the perfect tribute to his amazing life,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “Uga X is loved throughout the state of Georgia and well beyond by Bulldogs fans, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members who had the privilege of watching and interacting with the beloved bulldog for many years!”

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, which is located at 170 S. 1st. St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened to the public on February 1st, 2019. The HOF and Museum also produces high quality, customized bobbleheads for retail sale as well as organizations, individuals, and teams across the country.
